ARCHITECTURE

Guemes Island New Construction
Located on several acres of a 100 year old orchard on Guemes Island in the San Juans, this project is a collection of buildings: a small 1,600 square foot house with stunning afternoon light and view, a barn with guest quarters above, a rain water collection silo and a remodel of an existing tiny garage into a bike storage shed. A portion of the original round horse pen was left on site to become part of the new gardens on the property.

Design is not making beauty.
Beauty emerges from selection,
affinities, integration, love.
